Delete your account
You do not have to give a reason you are happy with, and nobody will call you to talk you out of it. Read the two paragraphs below first — there is one thing a gym is not allowed to delete, and it is better to know that now than to find out afterwards.
01 / Two ways
From inside the app is faster
If you can still sign in, use the app. It acts immediately. The form on this page exists for people who have lost access to the app, or who never had it, and it is handled by a person rather than by code.
In the app
- Where
- Settings → Delete account
- Takes effect
- Immediately
- Handled by
- The app itself
- You need
- To be signed in
Sign-in is switched off the moment you confirm, and the device stops receiving push notifications.
This form
- Where
- Below on this page
- Takes effect
- When a person actions it
- Handled by
- Our support desk
- You need
- The app name and your registered number
The form emails your request to the desk. It does not delete anything by itself, so give us enough detail to find the right record.
02 / What actually happens
What is removed, and what your gym has to keep
Deleting an account is not the same as erasing a business record. A paid invoice is the gym’s accounting document as much as it is yours.
| What | What happens to it |
|---|---|
| Signing in | Switched off. The account can no longer be used to log in to the app. |
| Push notifications | Stop. The device token held against the account is cleared. |
| Your personal details | Removed within 30 days of the request. |
| Invoices, payments and membership records | Kept. The gym needs them for its own accounts and its tax filings, and they are no longer reachable from your account. |
| Your gym’s own copy | Separate. Each gym holds its own member records; ask the gym directly about theirs. |
03 / Send the request
The deletion form
Five fields. The app name and the mobile number matter most — they are how the desk finds you. All of them are required.
